Triple 'A' Technique [AAA]
|
The Triple A’ Technique is a method Kris offers frequently to people who want to understand, or more often change, the circumstances of their lives. Consequently ‘Acknowledge, Address and Accept’ has become a kind of mantra among the various circles of Kris aficionados. Many of us ‘Triple A’ a multitude of issues on a daily basis.
The point is to acknowledge and accept our experiences (OUR creations!) positive or negative, as legitimate, meaningful aspects of ourselves. This practice opens us up to the helpful, but ‘unofficial’ information we offer ourselves continually. Sometimes simply acknowledging ourselves for creating a situation allows a change in perspective that suddenly reveals a much broader understanding of the experiences and choices we are offering ourselves.
“The idea behind the Triple ‘A’ system is that it can lead you into incredible nested layers of selfhood. And each layer you can apply the Triple ‘A’ system over and over to clean house, so to speak, by recognizing what it is that you hold at this layer of meta-perceptions that is then reflected through the auspices of the physical world. And you do this singularly and collectively.” Kris - Triple 'A' Housekeeping - March 12, 2005

Beautifully stated as usual John, as is your post under the "Just Ask Why" subforum. And to Mark: what a brilliant idea this 'Toolbox' forum line-up is! I LOVE it! And to Sean, what great work setting it up. Hmmm....I may have to come up with some ideas of my own for the IVJ, lol.
And now to shamelessly plug my own article "Jane Roberts, Enlightenment, and Wisdom From A Splinter"...but for very good reasons - ! - because it's a great demonstration of putting the Triple 'A' into practice and seeing its power as a tool of consciousness development.

Hi Ellen
For me... [shouldn't I be an old hand at this stuff anytime soon?]... AAA is all about relaxing into a certain stance... a point of view that says, no matter what comes up, "Whoa! Now THIS is interesting! Ha, ha, ha... now what the HELL is this all about?"
In the simplest of terms, it is allowing an openness to the personal meaning of our experiences. What [whom?] after all, is it that we Acknowledge, Address and Accept?
Thanks for your kind words... and for linking to your piece - an excellent example of Triple 'A' in action.
John
I've just been noticing that many of the October and November (2006) sessions seem to be focusing on the Triple 'A'. Even the Premiere Kris Radio Show had this as a focus.
If any of you are looking for more insights into the Triple 'A', you may want to research these sessions.
