KRIS: Now we trust that you are all comfortable and we thank you for your consideration.
MARK: Thank you, Kris.
KRIS: We would like to introduce another series, this being part 2 of "Who Are You? -The Art of Being." And this too, shall include many practices. Thus we are forewarning you of upcoming changes, the changes naturally occurring within yourselves as the result of choices that you contemplate and act upon.
Now most, indeed all different cultures, societies, including their varied religions and philosophies are created by the collective with the purpose of providing two distinct yet complementary effects: one is CONFORMITY and the other is CHANGE. Thus all of these elements put together, the societies, the cultures, the nationalities, civilizations, all function together to create a specific environment that entices the individual to conform to the collective and as a result change his or her perceptions to function within the parameters of the group he or she belongs to and various philosophies he or she adheres to.
And these are all receptacles if you like, or additional micro-psychological environments within which the individual can then exercise individual beliefs or convictions and within that context create the kind of reality that reflects or confirms those very convictions that the individual or the collective in that case subscribes to. So this creates the kind of environment that entices a great deal of mechanisms that allow for the transformation of the individual within the bounds of the collective he or she belongs to.
And together individuals come to put into effect those very convictions that are necessary for their own particular singular or collective experiments and experiences in consciousness and when these experiments and their resultant experiences gather momentum at the Framework 2 or psychological levels, then indeed, more and more focuses or expressions of Essence gather, come together, form their various groups and alliances within which they can display the results of their singular or collective beliefs.
And one small group will also gravitate towards other similar groups just as individuals will gravitate towards small groups and various groupings will also come together and gravitate towards larger frameworks still within which various meanings and values relating to all of the entire spectrum of convictions that create the foundations of civilizations. And civilizations also appear with complementary civilizations alongside them as further experimentations in consciousness.
Each one layer functioning sometimes almost seamlessly within larger and larger contexts, still for the benefit of all concerned, in the utilization of convictions that endure through into the physically manifested realities pertinent to the individual as well as the entire collective, and this at the apparent external or physical level.
However, these coming together of individuals within small groups, small groups towards large groups, larger groups towards larger still, and so on and so forth, also occur as the result of or because of a similar process occurring at the individual - or if you prefer, the micro level - in terms of specific aspects of self in terms of specific layers of the personality structure, each having their own traits and characteristics, coming together to form the personality structure.
And behind this you have yet another kind of organization above and beyond the cellular organization, above and beyond the psychological organization of the personality structure, right down to the very make-up of structures of units of consciousness all the way to the unique traits and intents that function within the realm of nanons, as we have described some time back.
Each one reflected within its own context of experimentation, creating a most beautiful, meaningful and profound fractal-like structure that keeps expanding well beyond your definitions of self into areas so completely unknown to your conscious, rational mind and your imagination, that it would be extremely difficult to describe them excepting to say that these kinds of structurings continue outwardly in a manner of speaking well beyond the outer limits of your greatest imaginings into structures of such multi-dimensional complexities that they fade from the regular meaning you give to things.
But all the same, these kinds of associations and coming togethers are also the foundations for what you consider in terms of yourselves being social creatures and why everything in your reality, the good, the bad, and the ugly, all inclusive, form a perfect symmetry and synergy of experiences that if you spend some time looking at your world through the definitions we have just now described, you might indeed be able to intuit and perceive these things for yourselves.
It is only when you begin to isolate and insulate yourselves from the whole of reality, whether through pain or suffering of some kind, through emotional and psychological discounting of some kind, that you begin to lose sight of the incredibly beautiful lattice-like structure that exists there for you to observe and be part of. It is not that this kind of structure actually disappears, but that you cease to recognize it and your beliefs in this line make it so that indeed the supportive lattice of connectivity with all of life seems to become invisible to your lovely eyes, that are themselves made up of the same components you may choose to no longer see and be part of.
In the past sessions labeled the "Who Are You?" series, we worked with you, some of you, to assist you in recognizing what it is that you are not and some of what you are as well, including the many labels and programmings that you run in the background, or in your subconscious minds, that become factors all in the outcomes of your experiences with reality, YOUR reality. With these upcoming evenings, we express the desire to assist you then in going even further than that. Now what is the time?
MARK: 8:04.
KRIS: Then we suggest a small break and let our friends discuss what this may mean for them, what they have now heard.

KRIS: Now, as was very nicely pointed out, these are merely maps that may assist you in identifying within yourselves so much more than what you have believed possible. Anything else is literally impossible. Anyone who introduces anything along these lines merely translates experiences in such a manner that others may discover themselves that much more.
But to claim that these translations or maps are the end-all and be-all, that they are absolute, has indeed missed the objective itself and cannot yet penetrate, the deeper meanings of self but must continue to swim on the outer edges of a much deeper ocean but is unable to understand nor yet appreciate the ocean itself, so must stay on the outer edges, or the shores, thinking that that IS the ocean for the moment. Does that make sense?
(Yes)
As such our humble attempts are then perhaps to bring you to a place within yourselves where you can appreciate the ocean-like depth of your heart and your consciousness. And when you are so prompted from within your own experiences, you may dip your toes in that inviting pool of your being and swim to your heart's content.
We are not claiming that this is THE definition. This is a definition from our perspective and done in such a manner that it may reflect YOUR perspective in such a way that you recognize the depth, the height, the width and the meaning of what you see and experience for yourselves. Thus these next few evenings are meant to encourage you to go yet beyond the boundaries you have now set up for yourselves. They are meant to assist you to push that envelope ever so slightly further than you have considered it possible before. And as you do so, then more of the light of understanding may shine through from within your own being.
Thus, perhaps before you allow yourselves to be as comfortable as possible and before we begin this first journey into the Art of Being, it might do each of you a world of good to take a nice deep breath, and before we begin anything, simply allow yourselves a continuing relaxation, imagining or pretending in any way you like.
That as you close your eyes and allow your breathing to set up a very nice rhythm....and as your eyes become firmly closed, allow yourselves to feel this slight relaxation.... And as that beautiful feeling begins somewhere in your body, that you notice it somewhere in your body, you allow it to grow, to spread and to gently envelop the entire body as in a warm blanket of soothing energy that covers you everywhere and allows to you choose to relax deeper and deeper and deeper still, until you notice a gentle and soothing feeling, perhaps like floating in your body as if you are something separate and completely distinct from the image of your body, you being a complex idea of energy.
And gently allow it to sink deeper and deeper through your body, through the chair or the cushion, deeper still..... as if that sensation takes you deeper and deeper still, through the floor, through the buildings....deeper still....deep into your subconscious where the very notion of time and space as you know it may even be momentarily suspended.
And allow yourselves to go deeper still to a time before there was a time, and to a place before there were any places..... And as you gently alight in that space, feeling very safe, nurtured, enveloped in caring energies, allow yourself to take awareness of whatever form of energy is yours at this moment, in this environment, beyond any notions of time or place.
And stretch your awareness to begin taking in as much of a sense of you as you possibly can, whether that sensed form of energy seems to stretch only for a milliliter or stretches as far as the distance between various planets or even suns, simply allow yourself to recognize this deeper energy form of yours and as you do that, allow yourselves to also very gently and safely and securely recognize different aspects or configurations of energy that make up your own awareness energy.
As you continue to focus upon this in such a relaxed perspective, become aware of the energy within our voice as it travels through your energy form and notice the intersecting impact when our energies come into contact with your energies, assisting you in recognizing and acknowledging this great energy being that you are. Feel or sense the contours of your energy self.
Bathe in this large ocean of consciousness awareness that is you, and even invite your observing self to join you..... And from that perspective allow yourselves to direct some of this energy, perhaps in a form of a beam or a wave or particles of aware-ized energy, through, beyond your perspective into the time and place where you physical body is gently relaxing.
And in this beam or wave or particle, send loving, nurturing, healing energy to yourself primarily.... and secondarily also direct it, send it, to anyone you know of that would benefit from unconditional loving support.
And gently now allow yourselves to leave behind this place before there were any places and this time before there was any notion of time, and direct your consciousness back towards your regular physical form, your energies rising through the gateway of the subconscious now, returning to your familiar physical form.
Take a nice deep breath and on the count of three you will open your eyes, feeling refreshed, feeling good about yourselves in every way. Three... two... and one. Open your eyes wide, be fully conscious and awake, aware of your environment, feeling refreshed and good about yourselves in every way. And we suggest then, a small break.
(Break at 8:33 PM. Kris returns at 8:40)
KRIS: Now we are glad to see that you have all returned from your beautiful exercise and that you are all lively and full of vitality! And as such, we would like to tell you a small story. It is about a man who went to see a healer. And for many years, this man had struggled with various situations in life, some worse than others, had gone through many challenges, some better than others, and over time had accumulated various kinds of physical and emotional challenges and burdens of one kind or another.
Thus, he decided one day to find a healer and at his appointed time he went to visit the healer, and after a few warm exchanges, the healer suggested to the man that he lean back in his chair and make himself comfortable, just as many of you listening to this tale are doing. And he further suggested to the man that he allow his breathing to become relaxed and rhythmic.... and after a few breaths, the relaxation begins to deepen.... and after counting from one.... two... three... four... and five, the man gently closed his eyes and began to experience a wonderful, soothing relaxation like he had not in a very long time.
And as the man began to relax, his shoulders released much tension, the muscles in his neck and upper back began to let go of much tension. His chest rose and sank slowly with the deepening rhythmic breathing, and he began to feel a flow of energy in his fingertips and his toes, that ran up his feet and his legs ever so gently, that ran up his hands, his wrists and forearms, ever so gently until eventually the man began to feel relaxation the likes of which he had never experienced yet.
And as his relaxation deepened in this way, the healer asked the man to begin to also release his thoughts, not only his muscles and muscle groups and tension, but to also release his thoughts and the barriers that existed in his thoughts. And as the man began to release and let go of his thoughts and rigid control of his thoughts, deeper relaxation was felt throughout the man.
And the healer suggested that he begin to also let go of any notions the man may hold that the past could possibly hold any harm towards the man, that the experiences of the past that may be lodged in the subconscious could also be allowed freedom, released from the confines of his mind, in order for any influences to be suspended, to be gone.
And anything from the man's past that would mold or shape or define any notions about the man would also be dissolved momentarily, so that the man could begin to get in touch with deeper meanings about himself over and above and beyond any previous ideas and notions translated from the past in any way, shape, or form.
And as the man did this, he began to feel a deep sense of knowing and of being unlike any ever experienced up to now, a depth in his being and healing awareness that was pure connection with a place unlike any ever experienced. A place without any boundaries, a place that could only be described as Self.
And as the healer continued to speak with the man and offered his suggestions, the man began to realize that he was none of the things or any ideas that he had previously entertained about himself and instead he was something else altogether, a something truly magnificent, warm, loving, caring, compassionate, a something that could actually feel its interconnectedness with so much more that he could only marvel at the mystery before him and within him.
A mystery only because it defied his present imagination and deep within his heart the man knew that he was that very same mysterious thing he had just now discovered and he would give it thought, he would give it experience. And very soon the healer suggested that the man take a mental snapshot and a deep impression of that state of being and bring these two things with him as he traveled once again towards the upper reaches of his subconscious, up towards his usual place of residence within the image of himself in physical terms.
And the man heard the count five... three... two... and one and he opened his eyes, fully awake, fully conscious and astonished at his sense of well-being and relaxation. Thankful for the experience, thankful for having recognized what he did and willing to continue exploring this, the first chance he gets. And he left the healer a changed individual, ready to create a new day and a new kind of adventure for himself.

KRIS: And perhaps some of you may have questions concerning this. Please feel free to ask.
MARK: (Pause) Anybody?
TOM: Yeah, Kris, how often can we do that practice? Can we do it as often as we like?
KRIS: Perhaps every few days to allow yourself the time to contemplate and apply the applications. Do keep in mind that you are focused in a physical world and you need to function within it. (Long pause) Do we take it then, that you have all fallen asleep?
(Giggles)
How many of you realized that you were also relaxing as the man in the story?
(General laughter)
ELLEN: We kinda caught on to that!
KRIS: Indeed! That is another kind of hypnosis.
BRIAN: Kris, it was so limitless and boundless being there, far removed from physical reality.
KRIS: That is why we suggested moments ago to also keep in mind that you have your expression within physical reality. The two have to be taken into consideration, that you can express yourselves physically within a boundless universe of ideas. Do you follow?
BRIAN: Yes, and it changes the whole expression of self in this reality... that we're so far greater than the events and challenges and explorations that we've created.
KRIS: Indeed, as we have mentioned some while back, the world is not about the world, but it is about yourselves, because you are bigger than the world in so many ways and yet you agreed to express yourselves within its parameters and paradigms, but you are not limited to being that self. Thus our small exercise this evening for example, can assist you to realize that this IS possible, not only in thought and intellect alone, but through direct experience. Does this make sense?
BRIAN: Yes.
KRIS: Please feel free to continue.
TOM: I have one comment. I kind of realized that I've put limits on what is possible and what it is that I could know and this exercise here takes you so far out that you have to be open to new things. If you have your own preconceived notions that "I have to see this, I have to see that," and you don't, you're not really expanding, and what this allowed us to do is expand beyond our limitations of what is possible, is that correct?
KRIS: Indeed. For the simple fact that any boundaries you perceive are your own, which implies that you are more than the boundaries that you set up within yourselves..... (Pause)....What is the time, then?
MARK: 9:01.
KRIS: Shall we wait one more minute? (The group laughs) Any comments perhaps or observations? They are also welcome.
LISA P.: During the first exercise when we finally woke up, I noticed I had this big, big smile on my face. I felt just a bit too giddy and very happy and excited and I don't know why! (Laughs) I guess it was an effect from the first exercise that we did.
KRIS: Indeed! And keep that giddiness and definitely your husband will be happy tonight!
(Everyone cracks up)
Now we did mean this in the most beautiful sense! (Silent pause) Therefore perhaps we will leave you all to contemplate the mysteries of yourselves and may you enjoy what you discover, and do sleep well.
